Project Description
Help the Jacksonville Urban League launch its first Center for Leveraging Literacy (CLL). This program has been designed to improve the lives of young adults ages 16-25 by improving literacy levels and help in attaining high school diplomas in order to attend post-secondary college or vocational programs. The program will primarily work with two groups of individuals: high school drop outs and high school/GED certified individuals who are interested in attending college or receiving vocational training. Juvenile Offenders; At-Risk High School Students; High School Drop Outs and Unemployed/Underemployed will all benefit from the launch of the Center for Leveraging Literacy - help create a world of opportunity!
