Project Description

Clara White Mission(White Harvest Farm): will provide agriculture training to youth and parents who live in food desert communities. This 6 weeks hands-on initiative will provide training on 14.5 acres of land and introduce the basic elements of agriculture, health and nutrition, while having the accessibility to fresh produce. Youth and parents will be offered plots of land, which they can maintain on the farm. This unique opportunity will allow youth to grow and learn first-hand, where their food comes from and the importance of making healthy eating choices, while gaining a skill in farming and gardening.

Support is needed to purchase tools and individual training kits. Your support will assist in developing long term sustainability for families in need.
