86% is such an amazing and functional outlet for people who want to give back but just do not know where it is needed. It is so simple to find an organization that you believe in. I feel very fortunate to have a website like this one where I can rest assured that my donation is going where it is needed and where I intended. Look. Learn. Do. It is really is as simple as that.

Project Description

Transportation is one of the key issues and challenges facing refugees in Jacksonville. The majority of newly-arrived refugees, including those enrolled at local colleges, are low-income individuals unable to afford transportation costs that may not seem prohibitive to the average American. Since monthly bus passes cost $50.00, we need $2,500 to buy 50 passes. 50 bus passes will provide 25 refugee students with transportation to class for two months.

Bus passes will be allocated each month to refugee students taking classes at a local college. They can request bus passes again at the end of the month. Bus passes will be distributed by World Relief and Jacksonville Refugee Community Services staff.
