Project Description
Episcopal Children’s Services is sponsoring a Back to School Backpack and supply drive for Peck(Nassau County) Head Start. Head Start is a federally funded program that is of NO COST to the families we serve. Families served are low income at risk and/or children with disabilites that must qualify to be served in our program. All donated goods will be used to ensure that our children are equipped and ready to learn as they leave head start and enter the school system for Kindergarten. Each school year Peck Head Start serves 40 students, this year we have 24 that are leaving and going into Kindergarten. Please help us supply them with materials for success :)
