Project Description

Gabriel House of Care offers nutrition/cooking classes for compromised immune systems. These free classes are offered twice a month in our kitchen and taught by two registered dieticians from Mayo Clinic. Post-transplant and cancer patients have to drastically alter their eating habits to address their compromised immune systems. The classes offer a hands-on experience in preparing healthy recipes with a cooking demonstration, grocery list and nutrient details. We offer the classes at no cost to our guests.
